High fidelity CoaXpress cameras offer features and functionality that make them ideal for use in outdoor applications like traffic monitoring, license plate capture, high-end surveillance and sports imaging, where lighting and weather conditions are variable. CoaXPress cameras are also suitable for applications requiring the highest possible image quality, such as semiconductor flaw detection processes and other industrial vision applications. Additionally, CoaXpress cameras offer the advantage of using longer cables compared to Camera Link and USB standards. Cameras with this interface require a framgrabber to capture the images.
